Opening Weekend March 14-16, 2025On March 14, the new exhibition of the KinderKunstLabor Paper, Rock, Scissors - Materials and Tools of Art opens at 1 pm.
Here you can see works of art by Phyllida Barlow, Maria Bartuszová, Jimmie Durham, Sylvie Fleury, Sakshi Gupta, Nilbar Güreş, Jeppe Hein, Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam, Katarzyna Józefowicz, Hans Kupelwieser, Ngoc Nau, Nino Sekhniashvili, Philip Taaffe, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Kay Walkowiak, Lois Weinberger as well as archaeological artifacts from the St. Pölten region by artists unknown to us, as well as interactive tours and workshops focusing on questions such as:
How is paper made? What is a sculpture? Are there also works of art made of fabric? What is the sense of touch? Can any material become art? And how old are the oldest scissors from St. Pölten?
