Station: St. Pölten Hauptbahnhof (Main Station)
On foot from St. Pölten Main Station:
Head straight into the historic city centre on Kremser Gasse until you reach Wiener Straße. Turn left and then take the next right into Kugelgasse. Follow this short street to Fuhrmanngasse, turn left again, and then take the first right into Steinergasse. Continue straight ahead, Steinergasse becomes Johann-Gasser-Straße. Cross the Schulring at the intersection, and you are at the KinderKunstLabor. Walking time: approx. 13 min, 950 m

Bus stop “St. Pölten Dr.-Th.-Körner-Schule”
On bike: approx. 4 minutes. In front of the house you will find bike racks and a Nextbike station.By car or coach
Route Planner
A1: at the St. Pölten junction, take the S 33 to St. Pölten Ost exit.
From here, follow the B1a to Schulring.
Drop-Off:
You can use the drop-off zone in front of the KinderKunstLabor to let people disembark. Afterwards, please park in our parking lot or one of the parking spaces for coaches nearby.

Car
At the end of Hans-Schickelgruber-Straße, visitors of the KinderKunstLabor have access to a parking lot (including 3 e-charging stations). You can park here free of charge for 3 hours by registering your license plate number at the welcome desk. After that, each hour costs 1 Euro.
Parking fees can be paid up to 48 hours after parking via www.pay.arivo.app/kikula.
Please note that cash payment is not possible.

There are also 3 disabled parking spaces in Hans-Schickelgruber-Straße, but between the Dr.-Theodor-Körner-Schule and the KinderKunstLabor.
Note: Please note that Hans-Schickelgruber-Straße is a pedestrian zone and parking is therefore not permitted there (except when using the disabled parking spaces)!Coach

Bicycles and scooters can be parked at the bicycle stand directly in front of the KinderKunstLabor.
You can either take your baby carriage with you on your way around the building or park it in the entrance area. -
Accessibility in the Building
Ensuring accessibility for all visitors is a core concern of the KinderKunstLabor. All levels of the building, including the restrooms, are fully accessible via a wheelchair-accessible passenger lift. The shop and the bistro “Das Altoona” are located on the ground floor and can be reached step-free through the museum. Companions of visitors with disabilities are granted free admission. Assistance dogs are welcome in the KinderKunstLabor.

There are 3 disabled parking spaces in Hans-Schickelgruber-Straße between the Dr.-Theodor-Körner-Schule and the KinderKunstLabor.

You can take your stroller anywhere in the KinderKunstLabor, as all areas are easily accessible by lift. If you prefer, you can also leave your stroller in the foyer. Feel free to nurse wherever you feel comfortable, or use the nursing room on the lower ground floor for more privacy. Changing tables are available on the lower ground floor, and both there and in the nursing room, all the essentials for diaper changes are provided, including diapers, wipes, and other basics.

In the shop, visitors can discover children's books and toys ranging from spinning tops to hobby horses. Our large selection of children's books in various languages is carefully curated: alongside beloved classics, you will also find unique titles that are not available everywhere. For our toys, we place special emphasis on natural materials such as wood, wax, and paper.

The season for Toshi's Gift おくリもの (1 April to 30 September) is now over. Due to weather conditions, the textile installation cannot be used until spring. In the meantime, you are welcome to admire it from the Other Lab. Thank you for your understanding!
