Geschichten von Friederike Holländer, Architektur- und Kunstvermittlerin
30 Jahre KOERNOEPast event
Description
As part of “Why Is There Something Rather Than Nothing?” with KOERNOE, architect and artist Friederike Holländer will be our guest. She heads the Education and Outreach Department at the Bauhaus Archive/Museum of Design in Berlin and is interested in the connections between architecture, art, design, and education.
A House, a Little Monkey and a Horse…
What do buildings, pictures, and objects have to tell us when we look really closely? Together with Friederike Holländer, we will follow the clues to three remarkable stories: a glowing house that wants to make a statement, an unusual school with hidden stories, and a mysterious drawing. Along the way, we will encounter invisible children and a little horse in the middle of Berlin. We will draw like they did at the Bauhaus and explore a material that can make us invisible. A workshop and talk for curious children and families.
