Workshop mit Joanna Zabielska, Künstlerin
30 Jahre Kunst im öffentlichen Raum NiederösterreichDescription
As part of “Warum ist etwas und nicht nichts” with KOERNOE, artist Joanna Zabielska works with children to create a textile banner that makes their ideas and wishes visible in public space. Democracy means having a say – and children should be part of it.
Carrying, creating, connecting together
Participants design a long strip of fabric with their own patterns, signs and traces, which they draw and embroider by hand. The collective artwork is then carried into public space. By stretching, carrying and connecting the textile, changing formations emerge, inviting a playful exploration of collaboration, movement and urban space.
Age 9 to 12 years
