Seth Weiner
Seth Weiner’s works, which often combine performance and conceptual approaches, employ a wide range of media. Through them, he explores the gaps between architectural fiction and social conventions. Weiner teaches internationally at universities. His studies include architecture at SCI-Arc in Los Angeles (2010) and sound at the Centre de Création Musicale Iannis Xenakis in Paris (2006). In 2020, he received the Austrian State Scholarship for Fine Arts. His work is represented, among others, in the Paper Collection of the Museum of Applied Arts Vienna (MAK), the MUSA Art Collection of the City of Vienna (together with Palais des Beaux Arts Wien) and at Künstlerhaus Bregenz.
Together with Carola Dertnig and studio itzo, Seth Weiner developed the spatial concept for Carola Dertnig’s exhibition FINALLY it’s HAPPENING at the KinderKunstLabor.
