ReGenerativa
Past event
Description
The ReGenerativa Future Platform, led by artistic director Christoph Thun-Hohenstein, brings together artists, the business community, and civil society with the goal of designing constructive scenarios for a regenerative future—in harmony with nature and other species.
In cooperation with the KinderKunstLabor, a series of workshops is being developed in which children ages 7 and up will research, create, and think together with artists and designers. The workshops will prepare the groundwork for the exhibition Mission Future 2100 and build on the successful kickoff event held in November 2025.
Workshop on the Topic of Soil
Andrea Grill
May 13 | 1–3 p.m.
What lives beneath our feet—and what does soil have to do with us? Biologist and author Andrea Grill—known for her children’s book *Bio-Diversi-Was?*—invites children to experience soil as a habitat: to touch, smell, compare, draw, and tell stories. The workshop serves as a thematic introduction to the exhibition Mission Future 2100.
Workshop on Cycles & Nutrition
Ronja Grossar
June 12 | 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Where does our food really come from? Ronja Grossar, who captivated both children and experts alike at the kickoff workshop in November 2025, this time explores nutrition as part of regenerative cycles: smelling, tasting, creating, asking questions. Connections between soil, water, plants, and animals become tangible through the senses. The workshop serves as a content-based introduction to the exhibition Mission Future 2100.
