Workshop mit Hannes Gröblacher, Künstler und Landschaftsplaner

As part of “Why Is There Something Rather Than Nothing” with KOERNOE, artist and landscape architect Hannes Gröblacher will be our guest. In his projects, installations, and drawings, he primarily explores public space, landscape, and social processes of perception, combining artistic and landscape architectural approaches.

Let’s playfully explore public space!

Public space is a space of possibilities. However, it is often shaped and constrained by numerous rules, supposed prohibitions, regulations, and ingrained habits such as driving. This puts the brakes on everything—especially in our minds.

In the workshop with artist Hannes Gröblacher, familiar and everyday elements will be closely observed, renamed, turned around, and turned upside down. Using simple analog methods, we’ll respond to these elements and intervene in the space. We’ll mark, occupy, move, and act. These temporary changes create new situations and opportunities for action that, in the best-case scenario, will also inspire passersby to join in.

The meeting point is the KinderKunstLabor. Since we’ll also be working outdoors, please wear sturdy, weatherproof clothing that can get dirty.
